Vietnamese cuisine encompasses the foods and beverages of Vietnam, and features a combination of five fundamental tastes in the overall meal. Each Vietnamese dish has a distinctive flavor which reflects one or more of these elements. Common ingredients include fish sauce, shrimp paste, soy sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables. Vietnamese recipes use lemongrass, ginger, mint, Vietnamese mint, long coriander, Saigon cinnamon, bird's eye chili, lime, and Thai basil leaves.Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and a selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, Vietnamese food is considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide.
Food, fun and Festivity! This is what Pho-Ethan is all about, leading the market since its inception. Pho Ethan provides the ultimate Vietnamese meals for a food loving nation. Be it our famous Vietnamese slaw or our conventional sandwiches, every bite brings smile on your face and say "woo"...!. At Pho Ethan, we can proudly say, “We do Vietnamese food right!"
One such example is of chef Chris Prosperi. He tasted our Pho-Ethan special Pho and regarded it as the best Pho of the country. All credit goes to our head chef my mom, who has been cooking Vietnamese dishes for last 35 years. She, perfecting the recipes in all that time has played a big role in our restaurant's success. We've gone from strength to strength with the support from our loyal customers. They demand the best, we deliver the best. Hence why we call our restaurant, "King of Kings".
